We all know that taking proper care of your tattoo after getting inked helps improve the life and vibrancy of the artwork.
First and foremost, listen to the advice of your tattoo artist!
Keeping your tattoo clean is your first priority.
Wash the recently tattooed area at least twice a day in the morning and at night are best.
Wash more often after bouts of activity that leave you sweaty or dirty. Using a gentle and unscented natural soap is generally recommended, as it will reduce the risk of adverse reactions or discomfort.
No color, No scent soap link:
Directions: For best results, wash your new tattoo thoroughly with unscented soap, pat it dry with a paper towel, then apply a thin layer of Just Inked balm directly on the tattooed area (may need warming up between palms for melting). Gently rub it in in circular motions until mostly absorbed. Repeat 1 to 3 times daily, or as needed to keep skin from drying out.
If you live in a warm, humid climate, make sure to keep your balm in a cool, dry place. Do not leave this product in a hot environment, it will melt.
